Magical experience at a charming retreat
The atmosphere felt enchanting with beautiful grounds and an inviting breakfast room with a cozy wood-fired oven. The meals were fresh and creatively served. On top of that, the staff were great, especially Michelle, who helped us book an lovely cooking class. I did wish the dinner service was a bit faster.

The hotel was romantic, had magnificent views and marvellous location not far from restaurants and a tour of nearby Siena as well as Transportation as well as Italy for 23 days. Huge and unique room, it included a mini bar, climate control and a personal safe. Truly enjoyed amazing breakfast and exceptionally comfortable bed. I came here for 2 nights and had a really nice stay.

beautiful grounds, but dining needs improvement
The gardens at this hotel are fine. I appreciated the attention to detail in our Beautiful Room, especially the charming decor and spaciousness. The team arranged an very nice cooking class that enriched our experience.
The slow dining service left much to be desired, affecting the overall enjoyment.

The staff was really healpfull, the bedroom was cosy and confortable and the terrace and swimming pool were great places to spend the afternoon and relax.
I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I believe could be improved is the breakfast. Although it has a good assortment of items, for my taste it lacks healthy choices such as whole grain cereals and bread, sugar free juices and low fat yougurt and milk.

An amazing hotel in an amazing location. The staff was truly hospitable and kind. The food very special and gourmet. It was our 2years wedding anniversary and I cannot think of a better place to have chosen!

Staying at Certosa di Maggiano was quite special. The décor throughout the hotel was like stepping back in time, with lovely artwork and luxurious touches. Our Beautiful Room had amazing views of the surrounding countryside and a cozy sitting area. Breakfast on the veranda offered fresh, farm-to-table options-those cappuccinos were very nice! The pool area was a highlight. We appreciated the attention to detail, like the romantic lighting in the evenings. The walk to Siena was a 20-30 minute trek along winding roads, which could be challenging for some. We opted for taxis after the first day. Dining could be a bit slow at times. Waiting a bit longer for our meals felt frustrating, especially with kids. It was like a luxurious retreat, but better communication about dining times could enhance the experience.
